Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and a variety of laboratory testing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of proper x-ray techniques and be proficient in performing laboratory tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry, as well as phlebotomy including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic medical x-rays following proper techniques.

• Conduct laboratory testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.

• Perform phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in diagnostic medical x-rays

• Experience in laboratory testing procedures

• Phlebotomy skills including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks

• CPR certification

• Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO)

• Certified Radiologic Technologist License from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Florida Department of Health Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray

• 1 year of experience with x-ray in a healthcare setting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree

• Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO)

• Spanish-English proficiency

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in the lab. The work schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 12:30pm to 10:30pm, Saturday from 12:30pm to 8:00pm, and Sunday from 11:30am to 5:00pm. The role offers permanent employment from day one, benefits, team culture, and cross-training for lab roles. The dress code follows standard laboratory attire.

The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
