The Opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Room Service Servers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Room Service Server, you will deliver food and beverage items to guests and be an important part of the guest experience to visitors at the property.
Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.
$10.00 - $11.00 / hour

Responsibilities
Answer room service phones and take orders from guests while providing excellent customer service
Accurately enter orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks
Prepare foodservice orders and deliver to guests at their room, spa, or pool in a timely manner
Serve alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures
Connect with guests after their order has been delivered to ensure the meal and beverage met their satisfaction
Monitor and clear the room hallway for used dishes
Performs opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned
Ensures all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly
Qualifications
Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs
Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
