YOUR ROLE

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, preparing, and shipping finished goods to distribution centers and customers in an accurate and timely manner without incurring down time. The open position is available on 1st shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM).

  • Enter, view and modify stock transport orders for finished goods to distribution centers.

  • Modify orders if production schedule changes or customer orders exceed the amount produced.

  • Complete SAP transactions for shipping, production confirmation, and transfer between lot codes.

  • Coordinate and perform physical inventories and cycle counts; manage finished goods in the warehouse and enter any necessary inventory adjustments into the system.

  • Communicate with Corporate Logistics team on a daily basis to prioritize customer and replenishment shipments.

  • Maintain CHEP pallet inventory including control and tracking and place CHEP pallet orders as required to ship finished goods without downtime.

  • Troubleshoot and monitor deliveries to distribution centers and direct customers as required.

YOUR SKILLS

  • 1 to 2 years of current or recent work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Availability to work 1st shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM) schedule as well as regular weekend overtime shifts; willingness to flex schedule to cover business needs.

  • Basic to intermediate math and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook; SAP experience considered a plus).

  • Focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet established timelines and adapt to changing situations.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

The salary for this role is $20.68. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
