Overview
The Product Management Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end management of demonstration equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and logistics for customer demonstrations, trade shows, and internal presentations. This role ensures that all demo equipment—including lottery terminals, self-service kiosks, and digital signage—is maintained, fully functional, and available for use.
The position requires domestic and international travel to support customer demonstrations and trade shows, ensuring that equipment is properly staged, tested, and operational in real-world environments. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing the Player Experience Lab (PEL) and supporting the Product Management team with equipment preparation, shipping, and tracking.
Responsibilities
Reports to the Director, Lottery Product Management
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management & Setup
• Maintain and manage all demonstration equipment, ensuring it is always in working order.
• Install and configure demo software for lottery terminals, self-service solutions, and digital signage.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and troubleshoot any hardware or software issues.
• Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning demo hardware.
• Ensure that the Player Experience Lab (PEL) remains fully operational for internal and external visitors.
Customer Demonstrations & Trade Shows
• Travel domestically and internationally to set up and support customer demonstrations and trade shows.
• Unpack, stage, configure, and test equipment to ensure full operational capability.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers during product demonstrations.
• Assist the Product Management team in delivering engaging, hands-on product experiences.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and ensure a smooth demonstration process.
Logistics & Shipment Coordination
• Track and manage demo equipment inventory (serial numbers, locations, and assignments).
• Prepare demo shipments, including testing, packaging, and documentation for both domestic and international transit.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and return of equipment.
• Maintain copies and version control of all demo software.
• Order and maintain packaging materials (foam, crates, boxes, etc.) to support shipments.
Additional Responsibilities
• Assemble prototypes and assist in new product testing for demonstrations.
• Work on ad-hoc assignments to support Product Management and sales efforts.
Qualifications
• 2-year technical degree (Electrical, IT, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux embedded systems (preferred).
• Ability to read schematics and CAD files (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Proficiency in software installation and electronics troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,450 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
