My Aquatic Services Inventory Specialist in WEST FARGO, North Dakota

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet inventory needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.

Monitor stock levels and perform regular inventory audits.

Track and report inventory discrepancies and variances.

Stock Control:

Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.

Manage inventory replenishment and place orders as needed.

Coordination and Communication:

Coordinate with purchasing, production, and sales departments to ensure inventory needs are met.

Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to inventory shortages or discrepancies.

Prepare and distribute inventory reports to management.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Develop and maintain inventory management procedures and best practices.

Technology and Systems:

Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in inventory systems.

Train staff on inventory management procedures and software.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.

Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.

Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items.

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Ability to work in various environments, including warehouse and office settings.

Salary:

22-28 an hour
