Aerotek Sheet Metal Foreman in West Des Moines, Iowa
* SHEET METAL FOREMAN OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE *
Des Moines, IA
Pay: $24-$34 Hourly Starting Wage (Weekly Pay)
Monday - Friday / 7am - 5pm / Available OT on Saturdays
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain communication with field personnel with office.
Leading and managing job sites
Installing any mechanical duct work when needed.
Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to office.
Develop or implement polices, standards, and procedures for work.
Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change: manage the process of innovative change effectively.
Work Environment:
This job is performed in both indoor and outdoor working elements.
Work is performed on a large/active construction site with lots of equipment and material being moved around consistently.
Community work environment - multiple construction crews with various locations around site.
Required to wear steel-toed work boots and jeans. Will be provided PPE gear.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
Prior field experience of over 5 years.
Journeyman license: required.
Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Efficient and well organized.
