Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Auditor
Department: Auditing
FLSA: Exempt
General Function:
Performs audit functions at the corporate office, subsidiaries and retail locations. Leads or assists in the development and execution of an audit plan based upon risk assessment. Leads or assists with the financial statement audits of five subsidiary companies. Leads or assists in the presentation and review of audit findings with members of management. Assists the Loss Prevention department with investigations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Completing audits, preparing audit reports, presenting audit findings and recommendations to management.
Assists with annual risk assessments, developing the annual audit plan.
Forwards store audit information to senior management.
Leads or assists with financial statement audits of subsidiaries.
Performs audits of corporate departments and warehouses.
Assists company CPA firm with year-end financial audit.
Performs audits of retail locations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assists with Loss Prevention investigations.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Strong skills in organization and presentation of material both written and verbal are essential
Experience leading audit engagements
Experience with data analytics and software a plus
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and interact with other people in a friendly, professional manner
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; 3 years prior audit experience

Physical Requirements:
Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting.
