Aston Carter Financial Controls Analyst in West Des Moines, Iowa
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Financial Controls and contribute to large-scale planning related to Financial Controls deliverables
Review and analyze moderately complex Financial Controls challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Financial Controls deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with Client personnel in Financial Controls
Perform financial reviews
They issue written risk ratings with a detail overview of a breakdown of the statement and then get an overall picture with the suppliers
Team needs someone to step in and have a solid understanding of financial statements and reviews
This person will help with admin pieces for the analysts on the team as well
They will go in and look at services requests from the supplier community
Someone that can go through and review the requests, looking at the documentation provided and doing a quick overview that makes sure it meets the minimum requirements
Provide guidance on what next steps are needed to the requesters
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
CPA would be nice to have
Proficient in MS excel and work
Team works with a broad range of industries so specific industry experience is not required
