Position Summary
The Lead, HRBP reports to the Division HR Director and is responsible for the day-to-day HR operations for the region including oversight of talent acquisition activities, employee relations, performance management, and talent management. It is a field-based role with occasional travel to stores, region or division meetings, and some company-sponsored events. The ideal candidate will possess multi-unit, multi-state HR experience. The position will cover the southern CA region.
Pay Range: $98,000.00 - $163,000.00
Responsibilities
Implements policy and strategy for short-term results and influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Decision-making is guided by strategic objectives of specialization.
Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Communicate updates to leadership as needed.
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Support 1200-1400 employees in 125 stores, 12 area managers and 1 region manager.
25-30% travel or 3-5 days every month with some overnight travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 8 working years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of direct or indirect leadership experience in a retail environment.
Availability to travel as needed based on business needs.
Prior experience influencing without authority to work with leadership to make decisions.
