Position Summary:
As a machinist, you will be responsible for producing machined parts and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. You will work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. You will also check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Essential Functions:
Maintains the organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping within the work area and reports any maintenance issues encountered
Assists with computer numerical control (CNC) machine set-up
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems
Utilizes work orders, blueprints (GD&T), sketches, written, and verbal instructions to complete required tasks
Enters information into our manufacturing platform (MES); creates and submits machine status reports
Confers with production personnel to resolve machining problems
Performs other duties as assigned

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 0 – 2+ years of related experience
Requires High school diploma or GED
Possesses basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Works with team to build and sustain a safe and friendly working environment
May be required to stand/sit for extended periods of time
May be required to run multiple machines

Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
