Job Summary:
Are you mechanically inclined with a passion for precision manufacturing? We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our computer-controlled and mechanical equipment is set up properly, operating efficiently, and producing top-notch products. Key Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate various machines used in circuit card assembly, including surface mount technology pick and place, conformal coating, and selective solder.
Make manual adjustments to machine interfaces and controls to optimize performance and ensure product compliance.
Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Meet lead times to fulfill customer requirements and maintain production schedules.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage consumables for assigned machines.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Experience: 0-5 years of experience in a related field.
· Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
· Knowledge: Competent in interpreting specifications and understanding machinery operating principles.
· Skills/Abilities: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately and maintain records. Must have accurate color vision and depth perception. Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed.
· Preferred: Experience in aerospace or manufacturing within a regulated field.
· Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
· Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Working Conditions:
· Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
· Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
· May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
· Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
