Robert Half Hardware Analyst in West Berlin, New Jersey

Description We are seeking a Hardware Analyst to join our team in West Berlin, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for laying out, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems. You will also play a significant role in system testing, software distribution, installation, and implementation of application builds and releases over system test configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Test and resolve software and hardware complications while documenting test methods and procedures.

• Analyze and interpret test data, performing unit testing, system testing, integrity testing, and regression as standard processes.

• Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.

• Install and maintain primary and redundant servers for the corporate LAN.

• Write technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.

• Interface with customers and contract manufacturers.

• Provide internal and field training for unit and system testing.

• Provide failure analysis, field support, and troubleshooting recommendations.

• Perform site surveys and system installations.

• Use a variety of instrumentation techniques and tools, including hand tools and small power tools.

• Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions. Requirements • Proficient in Cisco Technologies

• Demonstrated knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Experience with Dell Technologies

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Understanding of Firewall Technologies

• Proficiency in AB Testing

• Experience with Active Directory

• Knowledge of Configuration Management

• Demonstrated experience in Deployments

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work in a team-based environment

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
