Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work at locations in Grant, Clay, Douglas, Otter Tail, and Traverse Counties in Minnesota. From: 08/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 10/02/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Worker operates self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oil seed crops. Worker adjusts speed of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Performs duties like lubricating, repairing farm machinery and transports produce to elevator or storage area lifting at least 60 lbs. Service machinery and makes in-field repairs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record. No high school diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
