Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite for our client in Wellsville, NY Interested?

• Upload programs, parts set up, and running a computer numerical control (CNC) machine;
• Maintain quality and safety standards; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Create precision, high tolerance parts in short run cycle as well as larger quantities.
• Perform more difficult job tasks than a CNC Mill Machinist Apprentice.
• Use CNC Mills to produce parts per drawing requirements.
• Set-up CNC mills for quick accurate set-up.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
• Maintain tool budget allowance
• Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting, taking measurements.
• Detecting malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls;
• Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Document actions by completing production and quality inspection documents

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in BSI as a CNC Mill Machinist

• Apprentice or confirmed experience at previous workplace.
• Conceptual Skills
• Functional and Technical Skills
• The ability to adjust the controls of a machine quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
• The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.
• CNC Controls and Instrumentation
• Use measuring instruments including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing and job routers.
• Attention to Detail
