Are you passionate about helping patients achieve their best physical health? UPMC Wellsboro is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Route 6 location. Our clinic offers flexible hours to support a healthy work-life balance, with shifts typically lasting 8 hours within our operating hours:
Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Review patient charts, perform initial assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Administer physical therapy treatments and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
Monitor patient progress and document treatments, including discharge planning and patient education.
Communicate patient status to referring physicians and healthcare team members.
Serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, residents, and fellows.
Maintain professional licensure through ongoing education and development.
Supervise physical therapist assistants in treating patients of all ages.
Rotate through different treatment areas as needed to meet organizational needs.
Participate actively in staff meetings and in-service education programs.
Ensure accurate documentation and billing for all services rendered.
Provide home care instructions to patients and their families.
Schedule patients to maintain productivity while ensuring quality care.
Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Knowledge and skills to provide exceptional customer service.
Understanding of human growth and development across the lifespan.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records.
Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to identify and pursue referral growth opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the healthcare team and management.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire
