The Senior Software Engineer will:
Build REST APIs and Streaming applications.
Build Application UI using JavaScript frameworks.
Perform Code Reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Deliver the software meeting various non-function/architectural requirements.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications preferably with Java/Node.js/Python
2+ years of experience building out APIs and Microservices
2+ years of experience with SQL or Mongo QL
1+ years of experience in front end development using React JS or Angular
1+ year of experience working in an Agile-based development environment using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud development experience – Azure/GCP/AWS
CI/CD experience with Kubernetes
Frontend coding experience with React
PaaS, SaaS development experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Required: bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$83,430.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
