ASRC Federal Holding Company Junior Information System Security Engineer (supporting Naval Research Lab) in Welcome, Maryland
The ISSE with Software development duties shall be a part of the technical team that will upgrade and maintain the security posture of all networks at Blossom Point
Write code for Neptune core, Mission Unique Software (MUS), and Ground Resource Management (GRM) applications
Perform installation and processing of new products and procedures
Will install software that helps to notify the team of intrusions, and watch out for irregular system behavior
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of software engineering, software development, computer engineering, or computer science or 4- years related experience
Requires technical knowledge in software development, security engineering or IT systems engineering
Must possess analytical skills and be capable of quantifying risk to enterprise systems and level of compliance with security policy
IT system and application engineering background with experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, and networking
Current Active Secret clearance. Must have the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
