Looking for a qualified Housekeeping Staff/Aide to join our team!
We are searching for a Housekeeping Staff/Aide to join our community that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of this job is to perform the day-to-day activites of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our faclity and as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Director. You would be responsible for maintainins a clean and comfortable environment in the facility.
STATUS: non-exempt/full-time
SHIFT: 7a-3p
Major Responsibilities :
Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
On a daily basis, clean all areas of the facility assigned.
Adhere to all facility sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.
Report any maintenance problems noted during cleaning routine.
Keep equipment and carts clean.
Maintain documentation, such as cleaning logs, as directed.
Specific Requirements:
Must possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas.
Must perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, high school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years housekeeping experience in a medical facility. (preferred)
