IQVIA Key Account Management Dir in Wayne, Pennsylvania

Position Summary:

Provides the key client relationship to a major client or clients through relationships with senior executives and strategic leaders in the client organization in a large region. Grows and protects revenue by aligning with client goals, identifying client pain points, leveraging understanding of the assigned IQVIA portfolio to derive necessary solutions to maximize new business opportunities and expand existing services. Utilizes experience and expertise in channel & specialty data aggregation, patient data aggregation, patient tokenization and data integration. Exceptional ability to communicate and coordinate the sales, business & service lines at a regional level to ensure effective execution against client needs and IQVIA revenue targets.

Essential Functions:

• Understands the key priorities of the client and manages the effective communication of their business issues within IQVIA.

• Influences the activities of the country sales, business, and service teams to achieve/exceed the assigned revenue growth for their client accounts.

• Understands the client and corporate needs at a regional, and country level and manages multiple priorities and complex relationships with aim to improve the client experience and reduce client effort.

• Takes proactive role in contract strategy. Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business and win-back opportunities.

• Identifies and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s).

• Leads negotiations in renewing multi-year and/or multi-country/ regional contract(s) within assigned account(s).

• Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts.

• Acts as IQVIA’s advocate at assigned client(s) and as Client’s champion within IQVIA to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Coordinates cadence of communications with client(s) and internal teams, as needed, for alignment of goals, change management, project steering and issue resolution.

• Builds expertise in the assigned services to strategize, problem-solve and create efficiencies in scoping, contracting and project activities.

• Maintains high-level of personal integrity and organization to collaborate across cross-functional teams, manage complex tasks and meet deadlines.

• Manages the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with product/service offering. Actively promotes the assigned IQVIA portfolio of products and services to anticipate and meet client needs. Develops and executes account plan(s) for the region and monitors progress. Adjusts plan accordingly to consider new IQVIA product/service offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions. Manages multi-country/regional opportunities through to close.

Experience & Education:

• 7-10 years relevant sales or account management experience and/or solution sales management experience Req

• Requires extensive knowledge of multiple job areas obtained through advanced education and experience.

• Viewed as a leading expert within the field by peers.

• Extensive knowledge of IQVIA offerings, the client’s business and the pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills

• Bachelor's Degree Req

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $134,200.00 - $249,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
