JOB SUMMARY:
The Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in the buildings. The duties include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning, development, installation, connection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and electrical systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility equipment and electrical systems and write work orders for follow-up in computer
- Communicate with operators, supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair equipment and electrical systems
- Supports all electrically related aspects of production, process changes & improvements, and health/safety
- Selects materials, size conductors and electrical devices according to code and assist engineering in the determination of objectives for modifications of existing systems
- Test parts, assemblies, equipment, and systems for proper operation, making all necessary adjustments and record all modifications
- Read and interpret drawings and wiring schematics
- Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- Minimum of 3 years industrial electrical experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals required
- Experience with Allen Bradley systems, VFDs, PLCs hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCC's
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, and parts lists
