QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Quality Control Inspector in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Support production in alerting assemblers and management of workmanship errors, customer drawing contradictions, and any other issues - Ensure shipment of 100% \"good\" quality product per customer specifications and/or IPC standards on-time to the customer - Final inspection of completed product to verify compliance to customer\'s drawings and specifications; includes signing off on the traveler and preparing customer specific Certificates of Conformance; includes FAI report on \"first pieces\" for customer - In-process and first piece inspection for all aspects of production; includes crimping, soldering, measuring, wiring, along with all other general operation checks - Perform 100% inspection of soldering, hand-terminations, and other designated critical QC checkpoints - Become IPC/WHMA-620 Certified and use that standard to determine the criteria for acceptance - Learn the Brady Labeling and HellermanTyton software and produce labels for production - Administer the UL program by applying labels when required and maintain UL record log - Incoming inspection as needed - Develop tests on Cirris automated harness continuity and short testers - Work within the framework of the company\'s ISO 9001 program ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Solid computer, math, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills - Experience in quality control inspection; wire/cable harness background preferred - Knowledge of and experience in ISO environment is beneficial - Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 is a plus - Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to read and interpret drawings - Time management skills and the ability to work without constant direction - Work well independently and as a team - Ability to work with many people and multiple personalities while staying professional ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: south@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/736366 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
