Generac Power Systems Internal Auditor in Waukesha, Wisconsin

The Internal Auditor assists with audit planning, testing, and reporting throughout the course of the prescribed audit plan. Additionally, the Internal Auditor will assist with special projects and departmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in audit plan execution and evaluation of internal controls by:

Scheduling and documenting process walkthroughs with process owners.

Evaluating information, documentation, and data to determine compliance with policies and procedures and adequacy of internal controls.

Documenting the testing and results of audit procedures.

Drafting Internal Audit requests and deliverables.

Assist with departmental continuous improvement opportunities, projects, and other ad hoc requests. Provide support to management on special projects.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or other relevant business discipline

Certification / License

None

Work Experience

Previous work experience, including internship, in audit, accounting, or corporate finance

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Dependable and self-motivated with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as a key team member

Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Analytical and critical thinking skills, including being inquisitive and a willingness to learn

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
