Microsoft Corporation Power App Developer in Washington D.C., District Of Columbia

We are seeking a Power App Developer to build data and automate solutions for the people who are building the cloud.

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I the Infrastructure Planning and Acquisition (IPA) team drives the early-stage planning and sourcing functions that will enable the cloud of tomorrow.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be building and maintaining Power Apps for data collection and automation of operational and executive reporting. You will work with business stakeholders to collect requirements, with engineering partners to maintain data sources, and with your teammates to continuously improve our development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Power Apps for data collection, process automation, and enhanced reporting.

  • Work closely with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive good design.

  • Collaborate with CO+I Engineering to ensure report stability across deployments.

  • Drive continuous improvement through good documentation, adherence to agile methodology, and commitment to measuring success.

  • Be an active member of the Center of Excellence by staying up to date on the Power Platform and proactively participating in efforts to document and promote best practice.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field AND 2+ years experience in business intelligence OR equivalent work experience.

  • 1+ year of industry experience building and deploying Power Apps

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Model based Power App development.

  • Experience with Power Automate and SQL.

  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, C# or similar language.

Customer Solutions Architecture IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
