TriTech Enterprise Systems, Inc. is seeking a 'Business System Analyst Journeyman (ONSITE)' to support our Washington DC client. The Business Systems Analyst (Journeyman) is responsible for leading the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of business systems to meet organizational needs. This role acts as the key liaison between the business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful delivery of system solutions that enhance business performance. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will apply advanced knowledge of systems and business processes to drive complex initiatives, streamline operations, and enable effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
Business and Systems Analysis:
Collaborate with business units to identify needs and gather detailed requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvements or automation.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs that align with business goals.
Project Management:
Lead the planning and execution of systems-related projects, including scoping, scheduling, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Conduct regular status updates and stakeholder communication to ensure alignment.
Technical Liaison:
Work closely with IT teams to ensure that systems meet both functional and technical specifications.
Provide guidance and oversight during system implementation and testing phases, ensuring the final product meets business requirements.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding.
Data and Systems Integration:
Analyze system interfaces and data flows, ensuring seamless integration between various business applications.
Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions to address performance, integration, or user experience challenges.
Oversee data migration, systems upgrades, and integration testing as needed.
User Training and Support:
Develop training materials and lead sessions to ensure end users are proficient in new or updated systems.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to business users, ensuring optimal system performance and utilization.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify emerging trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize and implement system enhancements or upgrades to align with changing business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
Proven experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, and translating business needs into functional specifications.
Expertise in system integration, data management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Required 10 Years
Proven expertise in progressive consulting leadership, providing full lifecycle services within enterprise environment Required 6 Years
Managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for entire project lifecycle Required 6 Years
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Required 6 Years
Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including significant experience in a senior or lead role. Highly desired 5 Years
Strong understanding of enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and other business platforms. Highly desired 6 Years
Proficiency in using analytical tools, databases, and project management software. Highly desired 6 Years
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Highly desired 6 Years
Advanced skills in project management, including experience leading complex, cross-functional projects. Desired 6 Years
