Description We are providing an opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be handling a consistent flow of labor and employment matters, preparing necessary documents, and conducting comprehensive research. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle labor and employment matters and complaints with diligence and accuracy
• Conduct in-depth research related to various labor and employment cases
• Prepare thorough responses and relevant documents for labor and employment matters
• Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for case management
• Manage and update customer records using Case Management Software
• Ensure compliance with federal labor law and applicable employment law in all processes
• Utilize CompuLaw for briefing and calendar management
• Oversee claim administration and manage billing functions
• Maintain effective labor employee relations and handle labor relations matters
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the cases. Requirements • Proficiency in Aderant
• Experience in using Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
• Proficiency in Case Management Software
• Skilled in using CompuLaw
• Knowledge of Billing Functions
• Ability to carry out Briefing tasks
• Proven skills in Calendar Management
• Experience in Claim Administration
• Excellent Communication skills
• Understanding of Federal Labor Law
• Knowledge of Labor Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Labor Law
• Experience in Labor Relations
• Understanding of Applicable Employment Law
• Knowledge of Employment Law
