Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Make sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Assemble a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.
Responsibilities
Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Perform electrical function tests at the printed circuit board and final assembly level using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.
Other duties as required, such as packing.
Essential Skills
Production work experience within a manufacturing setting
Electro-mechanical aptitude
Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals
Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities
Ability to follow through on tasks assigned to completion
Ability to stand at a workstation for 8+ hours
Ability to lift up to 26 lbs
Minimum 4 months of production work experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
