Raytheon Polska is seeking a candidate to assist with in-country accounting activities for Poland Patriot, a complex, international program.
Interested candidates must have experience in accounting and financial management with demonstrated knowledge of business drivers. Critical knowledge or prior experience with international operations of a US company are desired.

The Patriot Poland Accounting Manager is a key member of the Finance team. This employee will partner with the team to provide financial support to Raytheon Polska, a wholly owned subsidiary of RTX.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Perform accurate and timely processing of invoices for payment through internal accounts payable system and cash transactions.
Oversees the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.
Compiles and analyzes financial information used to prepare reports, make general ledger entries, and review and verify accuracy of journal entries.
Interface with local tax preparer, Deloitte, for all monthly and annual tax requirements.
May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions to Deloitte.
Monitor purchase orders with local vendors to ensure timely payment and adequate funding.
Support Raytheon Polska Business Manager with special projects and workplace process improvements and/or generate innovative solutions.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and general reports in support of the subsidiary.
Ability to speak, write, and communicate in English and Polish
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
This position is a hybrid role working remotely and at our Warsaw office. The selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically, a bachelor’s degree, 8 years of relevant experience in accounting is required (combined professional experience in Accounting/ Finance / Business management or related experience)
Experience/knowledge of Polish Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Polish Tax regulations, such as VAT, CIT, PIT, PPK, and/or ZUS, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience as a business partner and/or communicator with exceptional financial acumen and/or practical experience in providing financial and business support to decision making process.
Experience submitting data and/or disclosures to GUS ( https://stat.gov.pl/en/ ) – the Central Statistical Office.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
Qualifications We Value:
Certified Public Accountant or similar certification
Ability to speak, write, and communicate in English and Polish

Experience in the government and/or defense industry.

Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, management, and peers.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams and an ambiguous environment.
Experience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implement positive change.
Previous experience/knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to work under pressure in a team environment to meet reporting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to deliver customer-focused solutions.
