Digital Engineering Team, SteelSeries

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join a project team for a 12-month project with the option to transition into a permanent position within the SteelSeries software organization afterwards. The purpose of the project is to migrate www.steelseries.com to a new solution, ensuring a high level of product quality and meeting business expectations. You will join a team of skilled individuals building products that enable gamers to discover, experience, and buy SteelSeries hardware – helping them play more, create more, and achieve glory.

As a Scrum Master, you will

  • Plan and execute the entire development flow for a distributed, cross-functional team (7+ people), from requirements gathering to successful delivery.

  • Manage team backlog make sure all work items are clearly described, prioritized and ready for development.

  • Ensure the Scrum process aligns with project goals and delivery milestones.

  • Facilitate all Scrum events (Daily, Refinement, Planning, Demo, Retro).

  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and any obstacles slowing down the team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Delivery Manager, other Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and project leads to align team plans and track progress.

  • Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to manage the project backlog and delivery plans.

  • Create and manage delivery plans or alternative charts, highlighting critical paths and proactively suggesting solutions to stay on track.

  • Support knowledge sharing within the team and across other development teams.

  • Ensure clarity of processes and practices, regularly gather feedback on team health, and continuously drive efficiency and delivery improvements.

  • Foster a safe environment where the team can experiment, learn from mistakes, and improve their daily work.

  • Motivate and create an inspiring environment for the team, supporting and driving continuous improvement.

  • Develop and track relevant metrics to measure team performance and identify areas for optimization.

What is required

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.

  • Strong Agile mindset with experience working with Scrum or other Agile frameworks.

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Hands-on experience in establishing processes for a software development team.

  • Show ability to support a team in daily operations and motivate, direct, and coach team members.

  • Problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, evangelist approach to drive the spirit required in an agile environment.

  • Comfort working in a project-based environment with a strong focus on commitments and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills as a team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Fluent English language skills and confidence working in a cross-cultural environment.
