Job Description
We are looking for Site Reliability Engineering Lead with background in software, devops, qa, and/or cloud engineering to join our D&A Data Platform organization and to lead the team of SRE professionals.
We are looking for someone who feel comfortable taking the lead, making decisions, and knowing how to mobilize and motivate people to set things in motion.
In this role, you will have a chance to advice on what to look for to determine the robustness of production environments, advice for reliable deployment procedures, assist in the analysis of failure scenarios, and ideate on how to mitigate or remediate those. You will own our engineering and CICD standards as well as observability toolset. You will overlook deployment process and have a strong influence on how our engineering process is being followed/adopted across several of our platform product engineering teams.
As SRE Lead, you will bridge software engineering teams and their deliverables with reliability expectations of our clients. You will help us to deliver reliable speed to our clients, allowing them to leverage the benefits of our platform products without losing grip on customer experience and quality.
Job Qualifications
Experience in the field of software engineering, DevOps engineering, QA engineering, and/or cloud engineering
Software delivery lifecycle knowledge (Git, CICD)
Experience in Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
Experience working with Cloud Services, especially Azure.
Experience with Agile methodologies
Foundational knowledge of ITIL
Good communication skills
Continues learning attitude
