Google Software Engineer, Cloud Networking Services in Warsaw, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

  • Typically 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

  • Experience with C++ programming.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.

  • Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and related network infrastructure.

  • Experience with computer networks.

In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

  • Design and implement developer facing and internal backend APIs.

  • Develop, enhance, debug and maintain components, system and user features which are part of the network infrastructure for Google's cloud-based services.

  • Contribute in all activities of software development, from ideation, minimum viable product definition, design, delivery, etc.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud networking technologies and trends.

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners teams.
