Google Senior Software Engineer, Google Cloud Networking Services in Warsaw, Poland
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
Typically 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience with C++ programming.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Typically 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience with Computer Networks.
Experience with cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
Experience working with large-scale distributed systems and related network infrastructure.
The Cloud Network Address Translation (NAT) team is responsible for the development of the systems that power Cloud NAT, a cornerstone of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking infrastructure that provide private virtual machines with secure and controlled internet access without public IPs.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for developing new functionality to Cloud NAT service which allows certain resources in Google Cloud to create outbound connections to the internet or to other Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks. You will have a unique opportunity to become an expert in planet scale networking and design networking features to solve customer problems.

Design and implement developer facing and internal backend APIs.
Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain components, system and user features which are part of the network infrastructure for Google's cloud-based services.
Contribute in all activities of software development - from ideation, MVP definition, design, delivery, etc.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud networking technologies and trends.
Work closely with cross-functional partners teams.
