Emerson Senior Software Developer in Warsaw, Poland
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Reliability Solution’s team!
As a part of the Reliability Solution’s team, you will be working on the new generation devices and software which is e.g., helping our customers in keeping their industrial installations working without any unpredicted incidents, which can cause critical damages or shortages in the production. You will be working in a team on designing and developing new generation of a device using the newest available technologies.
While working with us, you’ll be part of a development team, working on crucial software and/or firmware projects installed in critical industrial infrastructure all over the world. Your input will be very valuable in all phases of software development cycle – starting from the design, via implementation, up to the testing, release & maintenance phase. Our Warsaw R&D Center was built in 2005, and we have already released a lot new to the world products and build up an outstanding environment to work.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop an innovative specialized handheld product, designed for vibration analysis of rotating machinery (fans, turbines, pumps, etc.) installed in critical infrastructures all over the world. In your daily work you will be working on:
User interface design
System architecture design
Creating unit tests
Testing of created applications
Conducting code reviews
Working in a team to clarify project features
Cooperate with other teams to design integration between products

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 5+ years of related experience or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 4+ years of related experience
Motivation to build global industrial products and tools to make the world healthier, safer, smarter and more sustainable
Experience in designing and deploying commercial Android applications
Fluency in English and Polish
Experience working in an Agile Scrum
Great communication and cooperation skills
Proactive attitude
Technology Stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, Dagger Hilt, GitFlow, MVVM, Dependency Injection, Coroutines, Gradle, Firebase, Android, MockK, SciChart, Figma
