Job Summary

Marriott International is seeking a National Account Manager to manage and grow key account relationships within Poland . This role is responsible for driving sales across all managed and franchised hotels in Poland, ensuring revenue targets are met and Marriott’s market share expands. The National Account Manager will also support group and transient sales for hotels outside of Poland at the customer’s request.

The role requires strategic account management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with internal sales teams to optimize business opportunities. Additionally, the position works closely with the Global Sales Organization and Global Sales Agents in Poland to prevent duplication of efforts and to identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts, focusing on group and catering sales.

  • Develop new business opportunities within assigned accounts and expand market segments.

  • Set and achieve account-specific revenue targets for hotels in Poland.

  • Support conversion of group and catering opportunities from deployed accounts.

  • Execute sales strategies to optimize revenue for all Marriott brands.

  • Identify outbound business opportunities for Marriott’s international portfolio.

  • Coordinate pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with hotel revenue objectives.

  • Ensure booking fee charges are applied and collected in a timely manner.

  • Manage the National Sales Team budget effectively.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across assigned accounts.

  • Work with hotel teams to ensure seamless site inspections, client meetings, and events.

  • Provide regular reporting to hotels on account performance, revenue contributions, and sales activity.

  • Actively engage with trade shows, sales calls, and client entertainment events to enhance account relationships.

  • Collaborate with Development and Operations teams on potential new hotel opportunities.

Guest Satisfaction & Customer Experience

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client needs are met.

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and guest engagement.

  • Address and resolve any guest-related issues arising from the sales process.

  • Ensure accurate and timely information transfer to hotel operations teams.

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Support long-term sales strategies for the Polish market.

  • Work with leadership to assess the need for expanding National Sales efforts in Poland.

  • Ensure alignment between Marriott’s global and regional sales strategies.

  • Lead ad hoc projects and task forces related to account management and sales initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proactive sales experience.

  • Strong background in account management and revenue optimization.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales data to drive strategy.

  • Knowledge of group, extended stay, and transient sales.

  • Familiarity with hotel contracts and pricing strategies.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to travel within Poland and internationally as required.

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

  • Fluency in English and Polish (written and verbal) is essential.
