We’re looking for a forward thinking and analytically minded digital content executive to manage our Prime Video team in Poland. This role reports directly to the Regional Director of EU Emerging Markets and support the development and execution of our local content and programming plans to make Prime Video the most loved entertainment destination in the country! The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Movies & TV, deep knowledge of Polish and Central Eastern European marketplaces , and a track record of executing successful large-scale content and programming plans. Adept at persuading and influencing global partners, both internal and external, you will make recommendations to global Prime Video leadership on content selection, propose local goals and forecasts for approval at global level, work with Studios, Marketing, and Business teams, and regularly report progress to local teams, and senior Prime Video global leaders.

Success in this role requires the ability to recommend holistic customer-centric content plans based on local marketplace expertise, a passion for big thinking combined with deep analytics, and the planning and stakeholder management skills to deliver world-class execution across multiple teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Support the development, optimization, and implemention of our local content and programming plans to ensure our selection meets growth and engagement objectives

• Support all aspects of local content acquisitions with major Studios and TV network groups, including providing insights on content selection, financial analysis, and forecasting

• Work with multiple internal and external teams to drive alignment with local plans, including: finance, marketing, PR, original production, research, business development, and external partners and agencies

• Support the development and implementation of local content and programming processes, taking global best practices and adopting them to the region.

• Provide regular progress reports to local teams and global senior leadership, up to VP level.

• Build and maintain relationships with senior-level leaders at content providers

Basic Qualifications

• Professional media experience overseeing content acquisition, commissioning and/or content programming in Poland

• Experience of people management experience, with proven ability to train and develop a high-performing team

• Track record of combining data analysis and high judgement to deliver results

• Experience working with large cross-functional teams and executive-level external partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant experience in audience and programming analysis, television content and trend research, or data and consumer insights

• Confident communicator (verbal and written).

• Track record of succeeding in fast-paced environments.

• Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering results today while proposing future direction.
