Manager- Electrical Engineering Objective
The Electrical Engineering Department Manager leads and oversees the department's operations, providing direction on construction management, project execution, team development, and resource allocation while ensuring technical excellence and risk management compliance.
Responsibilities
Design electrical systems using advanced calculations and industry standards
Create detailed specifications for electrical construction projects
Develop technical reports including studies, cost estimates, and design documents
Apply medium voltage expertise to improve project outcomes
Mentor team members in technical skills and professional development
Track and report project progress using Deltek systems
Help win new business through proposal writing and presentations
Provide technical guidance on projects based on scope and risk factors
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license strongly preferred
15+ years of engineering experience
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Expert-level knowledge of electrical equipment and wiring design principles
