Seasonal/Temporary work from 3/10/25 - 8/1/25.
Workers will be required to erect and maintain hot houses, plant seed in plant boxes, transplant plants into trays, water plants, help prepare fields for planting, put out fertilizer, plastic, lay flat, plant plants in the fields, stick tie, prune plants, hand harvest and/or grade, sort and unload, clean and pack tomatoes, hand harvest and pack okra, clean farm building, tractors, picking buckets, packing facility and keep work areas clean, clean shovels, scrapers, hoes, and knives that will be used during the harvest of tomatoes and okra. May be required to apply pesticides under a licensed applicator and after properly trained. If weather does not permit field work, workers may be required to do general farm labor such as working in and around chicken houses cleaning, properly disposing of euthanized birds. This work may entail being exposure to skunks, snakes and other vermin that may hide in chicken houses and outlaying buildings. Drug tested may be performed post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Workers must follow all work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
