The Director, Patient Marketing is responsible for consumer marketing across the ELAHERE brand. This position requires the individual to foster positive working relationships to partner collaboratively with internal and external partners, including patient advocacy groups, to execute plans. This individual will play a critical role for the ELAHERE brand and future solid tumor launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering the strategic vision through tactical executions and ongoing enhancement of omni-channel customer engagement strategies

  • Lead Patient Advocacy initiatives and find creative and effective ways to engage with these critical groups

  • Develop an unbranded campaign(s) to complement promotional/branded initiatives in order to broaden reach with patients and caregivers

  • Understand and leverage trends in the marketplace impacting Consumer Marketing using data driven strategic insights to apply on an on-going basis to the marketing plan.

  • Utilize various research methods (e.g., market surveys, focus groups, consumer interviews) to provide effective brand positioning and key points of differentiation into the marketplace.

  • Ensure that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed. Must be adept at navigating the Medical and Regulatory process.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional strategies through campaign measurement and metrics development to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, advanced degree preferred (MD, MBA, JD, PharmD)

  • Patient advocacy experience required. Must have a broad network of established relationships with oncology advocacy groups in the US

  • Oncology disease experience required

  • Strong in-depth knowledge of Healthcare Marketing, preferably in Specialty Biotech / Pharma, including DTC, digital and CRM.

  • Strong, practical understanding in market research, forecasting, and market analytics.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to fiscal management.

  • Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies including advertising, digital, database agencies and internal cross functional partners.

  • DTC mass media (TV, Print, Web/Digital) experience.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively manage vendor relationships

  • Strong organizational skills with track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects concurrently, maintaining a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority-setting

  • Excellent communication and presentations skills for effective interfacing with all levels

  • Ability to positively lead and adapt to change and operate in a dynamic organization
