Description
One of our clients is looking for an ambitious Tax preparer for a contract to permanent placement opportunity within an organization with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:
• Completion of individual tax returns, specifically 1040s
• Utilization of various tax software including Lacerte, CCH Prosystem.
• Efficient data entry to ensure accurate record keeping
• Regular utilization of tax-specific skills such as E1040 and Tax - Individual
• Regular interaction with customers to resolve tax-related inquiries
• Monitoring of customer tax accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
• Ensuring all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintenance of accurate customer credit records
• Resolution of customer credit inquiries as required
• Collection of delinquent payments where necessary.
Requirements • Proficiency in using tax preparation software like E1040, Drake Tax Software, Drake Software - Tax Solution, and CCH Prosystem
• Demonstrable experience in individual tax preparation
• Strong data entry skills, ensuring accurate and efficient input of information
• Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines during tax season
• Ability to explain tax-related concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
• Commitment to continuous learning to stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Certification or relevant experience as a Tax Preparer is preferred.
