About the team:

As part of the Global Product Management team, we co-innovate with customers in building a new solutions SAP Integrated Business Planning and Digital Supply Chain.

Global and interconnected supply chains of companies in manufacturing and distribution industries have an immense impact on the requirements for supply chain planning.

Problem solving, Design thinking, and customer mindset are core components of state-of-the-art software applications.

Innovative methods such as AI/GenAI specifically are becoming increasingly important. To meet our customers' requirements for Digital Supply Chain, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) provide an integrated set of planning processes for demand planning and forecasting, inventory optimization, distribution planning as well as production planning and capacity optimization.

What youll do:

Position title: SAP Supply Chain iXp Intern (f/m/d) - Global Product Management Team

Work Area: Product and Solution Management

In this role, youll:

Are you interested in combining supply chain planning with new technologies such as AI and would like to develop and optimize processes and software solutions co-innovating with our customers?

We are developing new AI powered solutions that help makes the overall supply chain processes much easier, especially tackling worlds disruption events, such as natural disasters and current Geopolitical situations.

We are looking for an Intern/working student to support Product management activities to support our design statement of an AI-powered supply chain, that could sense, orchestrate, and respond to short-term disruption events intelligently.

Your responsibilities would include support of overall design and development for Digital Supply Chain, insuring a product/market fit.

This includes:

  • Overall Project Management Support

  • Communication via multiple channels such as the internal Workzone pages, writing articles and assets via social media

  • Design and development of offline demos using UI5 and marketing videos

  • Generating innovative future product ideas

  • Market and competitor analysis

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Preferred fields of study: Economics, Business, or Informatics

  • Computer skills: Design, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel

  • Language skills: fluent in English/German

  • Soft skills: Creativity, Team player, High level of Communication Skills and Intercultural Awareness & respect. Demonstrate a high level of orientation and can do attitude.

  • Others: Independent work style, affection to product management
