Description The Warehouse I position assists in accurately handling inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures. At the Warehouse I level, team members are proficient and able to work according to SOP, ensuring that all material is verified, packed and shipped correctly.
The Warehouse team wears required PPE: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, ear plugs and hard hats as needed. The team works safely to ensure that employees do not incur bodily harm. The team uses care and respect to ensure that equipment and/or property is not damaged. The team works together to keep the warehouse area clean.
Warehouse I Perform all duties as described in Standard Operating Procedures and Detailed Job Instructions Checks cradles to ensure accuracy of staged material. Processes material. Take necessary steps to ensure product is shipped per schedule. Perform warehouse duties as assigned. Maintains organization of area per 5S criteria Count units and check product identity per labels ID Ensure that all inventory is packaged and labeled properly and per SOP
Requirements
Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedure and other pertinent documents Basic math skills Able to work at a fast pace to ensure production goals are met Able to read a tape measure accurately Good communication skills Possesses a power industrial equipment permit Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills Previous warehouse, shipping, distribution or receiving experience Excellent demonstrated attendance and dependability Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer demands Ability to walk for minimum of 8 hours Ability to frequently move product up to 75 pounds Ability to frequently bend, lift, push, pull, and twist while carrying product
