In this role, you will perform moderately complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision for the Production function. You will be challenged with duties and responsibilities that will evolve throughout the year.
What You'll Do:
Answer and route phone calls
Prepare correspondence, documents, reports and, including payroll reports
Serve on committees and teams to provide administrative support
Data entry including coordination and maintenance of the Seed Production Supply Chain systems
Process discard checks and scale tickets
Track expenses and may provide assistance with operating and capital budgets
Working overtime during peak seasons as needed
Work with field team to create grower contracts and maintain grower data base
Coding and transmitting of invoices
Supporting other departments of the plant on data entry and administrative tasks
Backup for various team members during vacation
Qualifications
What Skills You Need:
High School Diploma or GED
One to three (1-3) years of related administrative experience
Good verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Able to maintain proper level of confidentiality
Proficient PC skills including word, excel and database usage
Ability to work overtime as needed
Organization and detail-oriented skills
Ability to prioritize
Time management skills
What Makes You Stand Out:
Agriculture background/knowledge
Previous accounts payable experience
Two-year technical diploma/degree or equivalent
Project coordination
Records management skills

This positions is required to work in office 5 days a week.
