We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our growing PayCenter team. You will work with a team of talented product managers on requirements gathering, workflows, compliance, and documentation as we expand our products’ ability to work across multiple networks. You will also work closely with our development teams and other business units supporting these products. There will be ample opportunity to learn and grow in this position, particularly as our product suite continues to expand with regard to supporting payments through Zelle®, FedNow® and the RTP® Networks.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remotely from any US location. Salary range for this position is $75-105k, depending on candidate experience and geographic location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.

  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.

  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.

  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

  • May perform application, system and regression tests.

  • Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.

  • Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.

  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.

  • Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.

  • May assist less experienced peers.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in software or product development or implementation.

  • Minimum of 2 years in the financial, fintech, payments, and/or ecommerce industry.

  • Experience writing requirements and user stories.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend onsite implementations, training, meetings, and conferences.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Experience with Azure and Visio.

  • Experience with Zelle, FedNow, or RTP.
