Senior Manager of Project Management – Supply Chain III Location: Santa Monica (onsite) Duration: 12 Months Description: Top 3 Required Skill Sets: Expertise in project management processes; excellent communication throughout organizational hierarchy; deep knowledge of project management technology and tools. Top 3 Nice to Have Skill Sets: Previous cell therapy or pharmaceutical supply chain experience; analytical capabilities We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Global Supply Chain team as a Senior Manager of Project Management – Supply Chain in client's state-of-the-art Santa Monica, CA headquarters. As part of this opportunity, the incumbent will work closely with Supply Chain key team members guiding and managing strategic projects owned by our global and regional supply chain teams as well as partnering with project managers in other Technical Operations functions and sites: Quality, Process Development, and our Clinical and Commercial manufacturing sites. Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Project Management – Supply Chain include: Work with supply chain teams to define, plan, and implement projects to add capabilities, increase efficiency, and improve performance of Kite’s unique cell therapy supply chain Define and establish effective project team structure and resource requirements to successfully achieve project deliverables Develop and maintain integrated project plans to identify/communicate interdependencies as well as critical path activities across work streams Effectively communicate with team members and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation plans Facilitate project meetings using meeting administration best practices to facilitate cross functional communication Maintain project status and provide routine monthly reporting to Supply Chain and Tech Ops Key team members Responsible for administrative coordination of project related tasks such as maintaining team calendar and scheduling meetings with relevant stakeholders Ensure project team activities and decisions are clearly communicated, documented and archived Utilize change management principles to champion change for successful adoption and post project sustainment of changes introduced Requirements: 0 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Project Management with a PhD OR 6+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Project Management with a master’s degree OR 8+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Project Management with a bachelor’s degree OR 12+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Project Management with a High School degree Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience as a skilled practitioner in Organizational or Project Change Management guiding large-scale organizational change initiatives 8+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a GxP environment Project Management (PMP) Certification Experience in life sciences industry such as cell/gene therapy, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices is a plus Demonstrated deep understanding of project management processes, procedures and methodology Independently motivated and detail oriented with excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a exciting environment Leverage relevant technology such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, Power Point and MS Office for efficient project management and implementation Reasonable thinking, deep business acumen, ability to manage complexity, and demonstrated communication skills at all levels in the organization Collaborative individual, able to impact without authority and engage senior leaders and functional partners proactively Comfortable in a exciting, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment with minimal direction Demonstrates respect, focuses on delivering value, and embraces learning and continual improvement.
