Responsibilities:

  • Participate in evaluating business processes, create/review requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop solutions.

  • Participate in reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.

  • Familiarity with the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

  • Participate in meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

  • Participate in performing requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results

  • Gather critical information from business and produce reports for stakeholders

  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements

  • Perform user acceptance testing

  • Participate in projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance

  • Update and implement and maintain procedures

  • Participate in projects, add to the project plans, and monitor performance

  • Act as liaison between business and technical teams

  • Effectively meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sciences or engineering.

  • Minimum five years of experience in an R&D IT and/or R&D Business analyst role.

  • 7+ years of business analysis experience in the pharmaceutical industry required

  • Flexible schedule that allows for work activities during times that align with different time zones

  • Proficient understanding of R&D clinical process, in the biopharmaceutical industry. Experience with late-stage development, marketed products, and/or managing collaborations is a plus.

  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; ability to communicate to a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Experience working with R&D Clinical applications (e.g CTMS, eTMF, or Veeva Clinical Suite)

  • Good understanding of GxP process.

  • Experience with projects related to acquisitions, including system migrations and retirement efforts.

  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, adapt to change and make rapid, disciplined decisions to enable agile execution.

  • Experience with multiple techniques for requirements elicitation

  • Experience documenting requirements and developing test scenarios for those requirements

  • Commitment to a customer-first culture and motivation to solving complex problems and leading teams to success.

  • Proven ability to network and collaborate across multiple teams with flexible, positive attitude and ability to get results.

  • Proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, MS Teams, O365 Sharepoint)

  • Should be available in EST hrs (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

  • Preferred:

  • Solid understanding of Veeva systems, data, and processes required

  • Experience implementing/validating Veeva Quality Docs capabilities required, with a strong understanding of SDLC deliverables

For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

$65,000.00 to $109,101.00
