Are you looking for a new challenge? For our locationShanghaiwe are looking for a(n)R&D Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- To be one of the technical experts in R&D team, with focus on VAE dispersions and dispersible polymer powders.
To carry out research and development on VAE dispersions, including emulsion polymerization, application test and scale-up
To conduct basic research projects on VAE dispersions in various applications such as adhesives, carpet, waterproof membrane, etc.
To work with plant on process optimization, trouble shooting and raw material qualification
To work with business team on competitive sample analysis and customer trial
To work closely with global innovation team for knowledge transfer and global projects
To drive innovation by proposing new ideas and preparing project proposals
To run and maintain spray dryer in the lab
To comply with company EHSS standards and ISO
To document laboratory reports.
To keep awareness of Intellectual Property and support IP filing
Other tasks as instructed by supervisor
Qualifications Required
- PhD or master in polymer related area, with solid knowledge on polymer synthesis. Experience with emulsion polymerization is preferred.
Practical laboratory experience
Strong learning ability, eager to learn new knowledge and skills
Take initiative, positive and keep curiosity character
Be a team worker
Fluent in English
Basis IT knowledge
