Rewiring America Project Management Coordinator, Growth team in United States

The Opportunity and Position Summary

Power Forward Communities, a coalition of which Rewiring America is a part of, was recently awarded $2 billion from the EPA as part of the National Clean Investment Fund. With the help of our growing team, we plan to use this capital to deploy subsidized loans, software products and market building tactics to ensure that Low Income & Disadvantaged Communities (LIDACs) are not left out of the clean energy transition. Rewiring America’s Growth department oversees the market building strategy and execution for this ambitious goal.

This is where we need your support! We are seeking a Project Management Coordinator to play an integral part in bringing Rewiring America’s market shaping strategy to life. This role reports to the VP of Growth. From building a systematized approach to help manage our efforts, to supporting diverse projects across digital marketing, market partnerships, and other strategic efforts, this individual will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are executed successfully and delivered on time. This individual will also assist the VP of Growth with administrative support and help ensure that our entire department has the operational infrastructure needed to achieve its ambitious goals. The ideal candidate will have an intuition for seeing the bigger picture within technical domains and content, and also knowing the best ways to engage and motivate the larger team.

What You’ll do

As the Project Management Coordinator, you will be the (electric!) motor that powers the many moving parts of the Growth team:

  • Oversee a systematized approach to manage work streams, which include demand/audience growth as well as industry-focused market development efforts.

  • Assist our VP of Growth in preparing for meetings, assisting with scheduling and note-taking, and other account management support.

  • Maintain and execute against a dynamic market launch calendar that serves multiple goals within the organization, managing our tools to facilitate seamless communication and timely delivery of assets.

  • Lead project kick-offs, debriefs, and reviews.

  • Articulate next steps, with the gumption to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

  • Identify potential blockers on projects and help to clear the path / unstick as needed, including navigating tricky conversations and proposing elegant solutions

  • Seek out and deliver timely and direct feedback that contributes to the ongoing development of oneself, team members, and a positive organizational culture.

  • Identify and advocate for areas where new processes or tools will benefit our work product, and build or consult upon them as needed.
