The Outreach and Communications Specialist is a full-time position with benefits and a preferred hiring range of $23.70 - $26.07 per hour (equivalent to $49,296 - $54,225 annually); however, an exact salary will be dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications/experience and in compliance with City policy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to:

• Associate degree with coursework in communications, public administration, journalism, marketing, or related field and moderate experience effectively communicating services/programs/events through multiple avenues;

• Minimal experience in public relations, public information, communications, community engagement, or media relations fields.

• Valid driver's license.

• Availability to work outside of normal business hours as business needs dictate.

• Ability to communicate (write, read, and speak) fluently in Spanish preferred but not required for consideration.
