This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Enterprise Planning Performance, and Evaluation Division (EPPED), Branch as assigned. The EPPED is responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing the bureau's strategic planning, governance, performance management, and program and project evaluation activities. Responsibilities The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Conduct various ad-hoc analyses, prepare reports, and compile information for management. Review and interpret new and established directives, instructions, and regulations to determine their impact on complex or new programs. Participate in teams to develop proposals affecting issues across programs and organizations. Perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties to improve the quality of data and information used to plan, measure, and evaluate the performance of the Bureau's operations and programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment A one-year probationary period may be required. Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel. This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. For the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL (5) of the following: -Developing organization or team goals AND associated performance measures or workload indicators to monitor organizational or program performance; AND -Conducting quantitative AND qualitative analyses AND presenting results in data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, etc.); AND -Developing written performance reports that communicate an organizations performance; AND -Developing organizational performance policies or guidance; AND -Establishing partnerships and coalitions across business areas or teams to drive organizational improvements. For the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes AT LEAST THREE (3) of the following: -Developing organization or team goals AND associated performance measures or workload indicators to monitor organizational or program performance; OR -Conducting quantitative AND qualitative analyses AND presenting results in data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, etc.); OR -Developing written performance reports that communicate an organizations performance; OR -Developing organizational performance policies or guidance; OR -Establishing partnerships and coalitions across business areas or teams to drive organizational improvements. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
