RCM Technologies Laboratory Technician II, QC Laboratory in United States
Contract Title or Role: Laboratory Technician II, QC Laboratory (2-4 positions) Location: Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, 100% face to face work Length of Contract: 6 months Company Description: Our client specializes in small molecule contract manufacturing, with capabilities like massing, granulation, direct compression, hot melt extrusion, bi-layer tablets, tablet coating, capsules, particle coating, and liquids. Position Description: We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technicians II to join our growing Quality Control (QC) team. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in supporting the analytical testing needs for a new product introduction (NPI) project. You will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely data generation. Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing laboratory analytical tests to the raw materials and finished products following the established parameters (client policies, FDA, cGMP) and applicable regulations without impact to the manufacturing cycle or the laboratory workflow
Document the results of the tests and analysis performed accurately
Perform preventive maintenance and standardize the laboratory equipment
Participate in the implementation of special projects and test method transfers as required
Resolve typical technical problems with minimum intervention of the scientist or others.
Qualifications:
Experience performing chemical analysis on Oral Solid Dosages (tablets) such as: assay, dissolution, content uniformity and related substances.
Knowledge and abilities in managing Analytical Instruments such as but not limited to: HPLC, GC, Balances, Kar Fisher, Dissolution Bath, pH Meters, Conductivity Meters, FTIR.
Knowledge of laboratory applications such as Empower (Chromatography Data System), Thermo Sample Manager, NuGenesis.
Education & Certifications:
Associate degree in Natural Sciences with Major in Chemistry or bachelor's degree in science Major in Chemistry preferably.
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in an Analytical Laboratory.
