ICONMA, LLC Java Developer (Angular OR React) in United States
Location: Jersey City, NJ / Plano, TX Description: Position Summary: We are looking for a senior creative, seasoned, full-stack web engineer to enhance and manage our existing applications using the latest standards, methodologies and frameworks. Successful candidates will have a minimum of eight years’ experience with the required skills listed below: Required Skills:
7 years of overall IT experience
At least three years’ experience with:
Angular and/or React
Solid Java programming language experience
Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
Experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot and Spring MVC
Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework—both front-end and back-end, if necessary (e.g., React )
Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools
Proficiency with Git
Lead junior developers (associates) and contractors on design, development and code reviews
Experience working in a feature lead capacity
REST API connectivity programming concepts
Solid experience working in an Agile environment and participating and contributing to Scrum and/or Kanban routines
Desired Skills:
Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Experience with mobile responsive designs
Experience with Material, Bootstrap or Telerik Components
Experience transitioning applications from legacy UI technologies (AngularJS) to modern web frameworks (React or Angular)
Experience transitioning application back end from a monolithic framework
Good understanding of Oracle database and query tuning in Oracle
